OUR MISSION

Our mission is to break down barriers, foster understanding, and create diverse and inclusive spaces, through promoting change, access, and integration in education, communities, and public services, by serving as a bridge to accessible services, providing information, support, and advocacy for Latino families in Kitsap and Mason Counties.

Our vision is a world where diversity is embraced and celebrated, and everyone—regardless of language, culture, background, or abilities—has equal access to opportunities and resources to reach their potential, contribute meaningfully, and thrive as integrated members of an inclusive society where they feel a true sense of belonging.

FOUNDER MESSAGE

From one to many: belonging begins with every person.

We know what it feels like to be disregarded—to be told you don’t belong in the very place you call home. At a time when too many Latino families are being shut out, the We Are Better Together Foundation offers both a platform—and a promise.

Latinos are more than a label. We are families, workers, neighbors, and leaders whose voices deserve to be heard. That’s why we don’t speak for Latinos—we stand with them, breaking down barriers of language, knowledge, and access to guarantee every family the equal right to education, healthcare, and community life. Belonging begins here and now, with every person. Because no one should ever feel like a stranger in their own home.

Together, we are stronger than the systems that try to divide us. We will build belonging from the ground up. Because Latinos are not outsiders; we are America. And together, we can finally claim the dignity and opportunity that every American deserves.
